You can download it here - there's a high res and low res version. Please provide feedback in the comments!

NOTE If your browser doesn't let you download the file try a different browser. It does not require you to sign up for anything to access the file.

Enjoy!

Hi there sorry we had an issue copying the files across last night but it looks like the PDF previews for the Lifepath chapter are now available after checking both links. Please allow a few moments for the page to load, you'll then have the options to view or download the file.

If you're having problems logging in to Backerkit please let us know. To recap remember to send us feedback of errors by the last day of January www.modiphius.com/contact

NOT COMPLETED BACKERKIT? We still have 475 people who have not completed their Backerkit Survey. Get On The Bus With Modiphius!
almost 9 years ago – Fri, Jan 08, 2016 at 11:38:18 PM

Hi everyone this is a quick update as we're raising money for Vision Rescue a wonderful charity in Mumbai that reconditions old school buses and sends them in to the most desperate slums of Mumbai equipped with a kitchen and school. They can transform the lives of 225 children at three locations (and usually more) who are at risk of child trafficking and worse.

We've already raised £1,400 towards the next bus via the Dragonmeet charity auction and we're now raising the final £2,500 they need through JustGiving.

https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/chris-birch

Please try and give a £1 or £5 or £20 - whatever you can afford or just share the news. As a bonus I'm going to give away $100 worth of PDF's from the Modiphius store to a random backer who links to a social media post where they have shared this news - just post in the comments below and we'll give away the prize on the 25th Jan.

I met Biju who runs Vision Rescue on a trip to Mumbai for a new multi-charity conference to discuss ways to combat sex trafficking in Asia. Amongst this daunting task I was really touched by Biju's passion and drive - he won't stop until he has a whole bus depot full of school buses and so we've stepped up to be part of that. I love the fact that each bus we fund have will have a profound impact.

For those who want to know more about Vision Rescue here's some info:

Mumbai is one of four major metropolitan cities within India and has a population of twenty four million people. There are currently 300,000 children living on the streets of Mumbai and even with all the provided help it is estimated that only 15,000 of these children receive any kind of attention and care.

Vision Rescue is a registered non-profit charity involved in feeding, providing non-formal education, medical help, skills training and other kinds of assistance to the addicted and abused street children.

The charity aims to provide food and to give non-formal education to the street children in Mumbai. They provide counseling for young addicted adults offering rehabilitation, skills training and assistance into employment for as many as we can. They aim to encourage and motivate them to live a life of fulfilment and dignity.

Vision Rescue has four main goals:

1. Rescue the Kids This project focuses upon providing education and food to street children who may or may not be part of a family unit. The aim of this project is also to bring about transformation in the lives of the children who are provided for within our day care centre run for children of commercial sex workers. This project also focuses on redirecting children's energy through sports education.

2. Rescue the Trafficked and the Addicted This project primarily reaches abused, both men and women, who are trafficked and living a life of substance abuse. The outreach teams make frequent visits to offer counseling, love and hope.

3. Rescue the Sick This project aims to provide free health services to the poor and needy where access to public health services is not possible due to high costs and poor standards. This project networks with other like-minded groups working within the health sector.

4. Rescue the Underprivileged This project aims at reaching out the marginalized sections in the community and empower them economically by helping to form self help groups, providing skill training.

Vision Rescue Buses

One of the key tools is the buses - old school buses re-licensed to bring food and education to kids in the worst slums, those most at risk of ending up in crime, trafficking or worse.

Each Bus caters to 225 Children at 3 locations minimum from Mon to Friday. Each Location we will have 40 Children inside the bus, doing workbook (English, Maths, Hindi) and also Personal Development classes during the week, 20 young children in classes taught rhymes, learning to hold pencils, scribbling, etc, 15 Children who come for just food during food distribution

Reach 12 locations with Four Buses - 2 locations outside city limits (one of the buses cater to these two locations) 10 Locations inside Mumbai (Currently only two buses do all these locations with over time and alternate feeding. A third bus is too old to be used inside the city limits now due to pollution controls.

Modiphius Entertainment has committed to help Vision Rescue secure another second hand school bus with just £2,500 to go.

Thanks so much for helping out whether it's just forwarding this email to friends, sharing on facebook or twitter or donating yourself. We really appreciate it

Infinity Backerkit 1 Month! Tile Sample!
almost 9 years ago – Wed, Dec 30, 2015 at 06:13:01 PM

Hi Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you all had a great time with family and friends.

There some important Backerkit info below but first we have a cool example of one of the tile graphics to show off today. Check the image below. This is a work in progress example of a factory tile from the Paradiso Geomorphic Tile set. Each movement square is 30mm across. It's still got a layer of damage to add to it plus plant growth as the jungle of Paradiso bursts through the ruins. Certain elements will be changing like the robot which will be more in keeping with Infinity robots.

BACKERKIT IMPORTANT NOTES I just wanted to confirm we have just one month to go with the pledge manager Backerkit closing 31st January but here's a few very important notes below as we still have over 700 people who haven't completed their Backerkit survey.

1) If you're adding funds by bank card it will NOT be charged until we lock down Backerkit which will be on the 1st February. That's when the payments will be processed.

2) - If your Backerkit Survey/Order is NOT COMPLETE by Feb 1st you will NOT receive your pledge in the First Wave of shipping! We have to get final order details by this date to confirm quantities for production and give the logistics team enough time to check all the orders have the correct shipping and prepare the shipping data. All completed orders will be locked on 1st Feb, any incomplete orders will not be dealt with until the 2nd wave of shipping so please don't leave it till the last minute!

Try to get your order complete by the middle of January at the latest with what you want with enough time for any queries. We can help you so just let us know. Once we get to Feb 1st we'll be running checks against all completed orders to confirm the correct shipping has been paid for. It doesn't hurt to double check your shipping using the Pledge Calculator and make sure it's correct to save time.

Here's the factory tile. Remember this is work in progress with damage and plant life to add yet. The tiles are being created by Mischa Thomas and designed by artist Jose Esteras who replaced Henning Ludvigsen. Henning had to step back due to work commitments so we're really glad we hooked up with Jose who's having a lot of fun producing these. You can expect to see security installations, offices and more ruined by the attack on Paradiso with plant life already taking over.

Production Update - We have seen the layout for the lifepath chapter and hope to send this out soon once it's approved by CB so you can start creating characters. Other chapters should follow weekly from then on.

Enjoy!
